Grant did an excellent job installing Wallbox Pulsar 48A EV charger in the garage. He did a thorough job of checking the power line and supply amps to make sure it is a correct EV charger for our home. He also checked the electrical wiring in the house and offered different options for house in general. He was quick in installing the charger and also cleaned up the work area after the installation. The cost was very reasonable comparing the quality of work. He is very professional and pleasant to work with. Overall excellent work in our house.
Is it possible to give six stars? Ten? Consider it done!From last Saturday, when we lost power due to a tree branch falling on our power line, everyone at AstroWatt has been amazing. First, Tom, one of the owners, called us back on Saturday evening (when he should have been out dancing!) and talked us through what we'd need, and set up an appointment for first thing Monday morning, even though they were booked solid.Then, Chris, wonderful Chris (who plays guitar, likes tacos--which we know because AstroWatt sends out a picture and bio to customers for their technicians as they're heading over to your house), contacted us Monday morning and offered to pick up something for us from Starbucks on his way--an offer we gratefully accepted. And that was just the beginning of Chris's fabulousness! He talked us through everything we needed repaired to pass inspection and get our power back on, gave us options, and approached everything he did with an eye to doing it in the safest and most elegant way possible, including dealing with Duke Energy and arranging the inspection. Honestly, he's given new life to our almost-100-year-old-house, and we feel safer than we have in years. And he was such a delight to be with, too!Ken, who worked with Chris, was also wonderful: friendly, kind and fun. Chris and Ken left the house spotless, and we now have two gorgeous new electrical boxes (one inside and one outside) with room to expand--maybe even charge a future electric car.And finally (though only for the moment, as we'll be hiring AstroWatt again to do more work very soon and know we'll meet more people) Nathan, the technician coordinator, wrote a delightful note to us this morning about our final inspection, breaking the news--with grace, humor and wit--that one of us would have to be here all day for whenever the inspector came.We love AstroWatt and will be recommending them to everyone, as well as hiring them ourselves for our electrical needs. They are wonderful human beings who happen to offer some of the best customer service we've ever seen.
I had a great experience with this company. They installed an outlet for an EV charger in my garage and it only took about an hour. Didn't even have to turn the power off. They were professional and thorough in their explanation of the install process.
My experience with AstroWatt was the best I've ever had with a service provider! Charlie arrived right on time and was very professional. He took the time to assess our electrical system and explain any concerns without pressure to commit to the additional work. Charlie installed the ceiling fan and light ahead of schedule within just a matter of a couple hours. He even installed a bracket to hold the remote on the wall. Charlie and the AstroWatt team went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. I will definitely work with them again!
We used AstroWatt Electric multiple times for our electric needs/ service upgrade in 2022 and car charger installation in 2023. We have been pleased with the quality of their work- service upgrade included new underground wire and installed of new electrical panel. Company was very helping in coordination Duke/inspection and installation. Employees are very polite and provide detailed estimates prior to starting. Updates were given during each project and at the end of each day, work site was cleaned up nicely We plan on using company for any future electrical needs
The company was very responsive and was very professional about giving me feedback on my project. I got a fast response, which was excellent. I thought the price quote was vey reasonable. I really liked the way I was contacted after their visit just to follow up and make sure we were happy with the visit. We decided to wait on our project at this time, but AstroWatt Electric will be first on our list in the future.
Christian is great. Having just purchased our home, we had a long wishlist. We were provided an itemized estimate so we could prioritize our needs/wants within budget. Christian and Grant then got to work, keeping us apprised of their concerns and progress. All of the work was completed in a timely manner and the work areas left clean & shiny. Chris returned to complete the job as scheduled and was as helpful and informative on all he did. Helped to fix minor other issues. And we will have him back in the future as needs arise. Completed the job as expected. Chris offered his experience solutions and spent the amount of time necessary to solve the initial problem and solved it. And provided information in solving the future needs.He did not do a selling job on anything that was not necessary. This is my second time working with Charlie Hester to replace a ceiling fan with a light/remote. He is a very professional, neat, and a polite gentleman. Charlie was punctual and thoroughly explained the process that would take place from beginning to end. He installed my ceiling fan with care. We had a great experience with AstroWatt and would definitely use them again in the future! Our technician, Chris Crammer, did a thorough inspection of our electrical system because our light bulbs blew out too frequently. He offered us many different options and even put into consideration how long we plan on living here. He discovered some wiring issues with our outdoor outlets which he ended up repairing and replacing. He also installed a whole home surge protector for us. It was a really hot day but he just kept working! It was our first time using the service and we would definitely use them again! Also, they offer financing through GreenSky. We were looking to install a receptacle and improved lighting in the garage and gave AstroWatt a call. Adam came out for the estimate and was thorough communicating what was possible and not possible. When we decided to install, we accepted the estimate and within a couple hours, someone reached back out and scheduled us for the following day. Installation was completed and we couldn't be happier! Highly recommended for anyone needing electrical service!
This company was great about getting me scheduled for a quote. There was clear communication from the front desk staff the whole time. Chris did our quote and was very professional and went over all of our options in detail. We did not end up going with the company only because it was a bit more expensive than anticipated to complete some of the safety suggestions. Otherwise, I’m sure the company would’ve delivered quality service work.
Chris was prompt, knowledgeable, efficient and courteous. He had done work before and was familiar with our home, and that helped him evaluate what was needed today. We would use Chris again (but Astro Watt Electric prices are a bit high!)
We had AstroWatt come out to update a panel and install a surge protector for the house. The electrician explained everything in great detail and was able to schedule the work very quickly. Absolutely perfect work and will be working with them again in the future!

It's not often you run into a company that operates the way that AstroWatt does. From the beginning, they were responsive and extremely professional. When installing an EV charger they handle the permit and inspection which is not something all companies do. I ended getting quotes from a few electrical companies and AstroWatt was the best quote. While you may be able to find cheaper if you decide to go with a handyman or smaller company the professionalism and quality of service as well as transparency pays for itself. My technician Adam was very knowledgeable and made sure I had no unanswered questions at every step of the process. I highly recommend this company and will be using them in the future. I worked with three gentlemen at thus company as well as their scheduling team. Everyone was friendly, positive, and easy to work with. They showed up quickly, explained my issues very well along with the capacity available on my home. They installed an EV charger for us and it was extremely tidy work. They also fixed a poorly backstabbed lightswitch which was a huge headache for us.They were also super good with our 100 lb pyrenees and put me totally at ease with her being around. They tried to upsell me a little bit but that's honestly just how contractors work. They get limited facetime and they want as much work as they can get so I don't hold that against them. The work they did was phenomenal, their attitudes were good and they were prompt. I don't know what else you can ask for.Incidentally they also sent us brownies afterward and I gotta tell you that is a heavyweight move. The brownie is was solid. Ate it with chocolate milk. Would recommend.
I want to give a huge thanks to Chris, Alex and Zach from AstroWatt for coming out to upgrade our service. From the very beginning it was a great experience. With such an old house, there was a lot to consider. Chris came out to give us a quote and spent time going over all of the upgrades, options and packages. He took time to look at all of the concerns we had and was extremely thorough. We didn't have to wait long for the installation, with Alex and Zach coming out the following week. They arrived on time, and were setup and ready to go when the power company pulled up. Both guys introduced themselves, told me what to expect, and answered all of my questions along the way. After the job was complete (same day) we chatted for a bit about their work. They really do love what they do, and it shows. I wouldn't hesitate to use AstroWatt again when we do some additional upgrades down the line. Big thanks Alex and Zach, you guys are pros.
We had a great experience with Tom and Alex! We have never had an electrician as good as AstroWatt. We have used them for residential and commercial needs. They were professional and on time. When we were not satisfied with our original quote price, they were able to readjust the quote and take care of our needs with a quote we were comfortable with. They were concerned more with safety than getting our business and provided recommendations that would make our house safe. Alex (who did the electrical work) was very knowledgeable, reliable, professional, and kind. They have a customer for life with us. We would recommend them highly. You will not be disappointed.
When my dishwasher suddenly stopped working because of an electrical issue, I contacted this company based on their stellar reviews alone. Let me tell you that they absolutely did not disappoint. From the friendly service received by Crystal (sp?) on the phone, to the high-tech appointment texts, to the in-person customer service, the entire experience was top-notch. Both Tom (a co-owner, I believe) and Patrick were friendly, great at explaining detail & setting expectations, and skilled at completing the work quickly. They even wore shoe coverings and cleaned up after themselves.Having never used an electrician before, I can’t really speak to value, but the end price seemed very reasonable to me and I appreciated how multiple service tiers were offered. I now have a properly wired dishwasher, up-to-code outlets, and a whole house surge protector. I plan to only use this company for any future needs. Highly recommend!

Working with Crystal to schedule the appointments, Craig on the estimate, and Chris completing the work. It was all Customer First, on time, and as promised. Exceeded my expectations and they set a high bar for other contractors. Will definitely use them again, and would not hesitate to recommend them to others for electrical work.
Christian was fabulous! My dad and I attempted installing a chandelier with a ceiling medallion on our own and we learned the hard way it is better to get the experts involved. Christian arrived on time, was super polite, helpful in explaining what he was doing and what had gone wrong before. They were able to get someone to my home within 72 hours of me calling them so I am super appreciative of their quick work and prompt response in scheduling my appointment. Thank you for your help. I highly recommend Christian for any of your electrical needs and will be reaching back out when I want additional lights installed.
This is the best electrical company I have ever dealt with. Alex was awesome! He assessed my problem and provided me with a quote and completed the job to my satisfaction. Matt and Wes did an outstanding job of not only replacing my entire Electrical Panel, they also were great guests, very polite and professional and even showed all my pets love to make it a peaceful visit! They were quick to fix everything, walked me through everything the did at the end and answered all my questions with ease. I was impressed by how responsive they were. I submitted a request form late at night and had a call from them first thing in the morning. Within the hour, they had arrived to provide an estimate. The work was completed less than 24 hours later.The service was timely, which is remarkable when so many service providers are booked months out. The crew was over-the-top kind, never mansplained to my wife (ha!), finished with their work quickly, and cleaned up thoroughly. We've had no issues with their installation, and would be likely to reach out to them for work again.
Excellent service and business! Lisa(?) was very helpful on the phone, and Tom was quick to come out and give us a reasonable quote for installing 4 ceiling fans and a few switches. Alex and Colby then did a great job with the installation. Very happy with the work! We'll be back in the future when we decide on some new light fixtures, and any other work that comes up!
